Movement is the name of the game at Acrofit. Founders John and Julia Boyd specialize in all forms of movement including:
  • Acro Yoga
  • Balance training
  • Calisthenics
  • Dance, Martial Arts
  • Inversions
  • General movement training

Combining these skills is how AcroFit was born. We love movement training because it is so versatile. If you're just starting out you can do simple movements to gain balance and core strength. You need to work your way up to the more advanced movement training exercises like inversions and flips.

The other reason we love movement training is because it is the single most effective way to promote a long, healthy, and happy life. Studies are showing more and more often how heavy weight lifting and similar types of exercise are doing more harm than good, especially in the long term. Bodyweight and movement training will focus on strength, flexibility, cardio, and injury prevention.

Acro Fits specialty is combining all these skills to create a world of fitness that will never loose its excitement. Here are a couple of examples.

    • Cartwheel to handstand: Mixing gymnastics with inversions
